	IPM, INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

	The most significant detail in Marmara Group's success lies in the implementation of integrated pest management program. Marmara Group starts to work within the following program by controlling the pests in biological, mechanical, physical and chemical terms to minimize the potential environmental risks and by targeting to be economical. Marmara Group implements the following program for all its customers.
	OBSERVATION & ANALYSIS
	Initially a comprehensive and extensive observation is carried out for each facility. The objective of the observation is the determination of insect entry points, their feeding grounds, entries, the state of the construction, the state of the water and drainage systems, the heating and ventilation systems, the floor coverings and walls, and the analysis of the critical points such as the living areas of the employees. In parallel to this, the potential contamination locations, the number of employees, the frequency of personnel's entry into the facility and their working hours are determined to constitute the information source for the control system to be established by us.
	PEST IDENTIFICATION
	As the application details and the manner of combat against each pest differ; the identification and entomology of pests are crucial. Our inspectors perform this determination together with sampling and evaluation. In this evaluation, the biology, habits of the pests are identified.
	PROGRAM PREPARATION
	Our technical personnel prepare the control program, together with the person in charge of the facility pest control, in the light of above data by taking into consideration the pest population and the damages caused or the potential damages which might be caused by them, in view of facility location, weather conditions and the operating condition of the facility.
	IMPLEMENTATION AND MONITORING
	Chemical Control is a combat method which we do not always prefer. The pheromones and the monitors used are oriented both towards observing and reducing the population. The chemicals used shall especially be pesticides conforming to the public health.
